THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

The nervous system controls the functions of interaction. It is made up by neurones, and consists of the central nervous system and the peripheral nerv.

The central nervous system consist of the brain and the spinal cord.

The brain has three parts:

- The cerebrum controls voluntary movement.
- The cerebellum coordinates movements and maintains balance.
- The brain stem regulates internal organs.

The spinal cord controls reflex movements.
